Borneonisation of Civil Service

Without getting too distracted by the political noises around MA63 this week, the headline centres on Putrajaya move to hire more Sarawakians in federal positions in the civil service in Sarawak. Is it just me, or is it surprising this is only coming up now?
This week’s infographic compares several major Malaysian ports with Sarawak’s two primary gateways, Kuching and Bintulu. The difference in scale is distractingly wide and just shows how far behind we are in maritime trade volumes.
