Coming soon: The East Wing
Issue 57. 5 October 2026
Last week’s announcement by the Prime Minister confirming an increase in parliamentary seats for Sabah and Sarawak was undoubtedly the eyebrow-raising news of the week — and rightly takes its place as the main headline. It remains only a promise for now, but if and when it happens, it will mark a historic moment not just for East Malaysia, but for the nation as a whole. Finally, this week’s infographic turns the spotlight on a major source of revenue that has been quietly powering the economy: the live performance concert industry. It’s a fast-growing, high-stakes business facing intense competition from regional heavyweights like Singapore and Bangkok — but also full of opportunity for those bold enough to take the stage.
