This week’s issue is about leadership: the Sarawak government is showing the way in how to build an equitable society through fair access to education for all. Abang Jo is in London to create opportunities for upskill our civil servants to the next level. In sports, the Sarawakian contingent is leading at the Borneo Games (concluding today).
On a different note, this week’s infographic looks what happens when leadership fails: people leave. Singapore, predictably is the most popular destination for Malaysians who left the country. Granted, not all are permanently migrated but for a small country like Malaysia that has a relatively small base of skilled workers, the impact of even a small number is signficant. Defiantly, I share my positive spin in A string of thought.
